Plight and Power: the Attack on Women in Higher Education

Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL)
East Asian woman, Middle-Eastern woman and Black woman stand together, all facing the right.

Today, women in higher education face numerous challenges, including bias, gender discrimination, unequal opportunities, pay inequity, lack of representation in leadership roles, and difficulties balancing academic pursuits with family responsibilities. The program aims to address the nuanced issues impacting women, particularly Women of Color, in academia, highlighting their experiences and strengths in navigating these complexities.
