Poets & Writers Series: Tonya M. Foster

    Please join us for a talk by poet Tonya M. Foster, A Conversation with Jena Osman. Please register for this even via Zoom.

    Tonya M. Foster is the author of A Swarm of Bees in High Court; the bilingual chapbook La Grammaire des Os; the chapbook A History of the Bitch; and co-editor of Third Mind: Creative Writing through Visual Art. Her next poetry collection, Thingification, is forthcoming from Ugly Duckling Presse in 2021. She is a poetry editor at Fence Magazine and a contributing editor at the A-Line Journal. A 2020–2021 Lisa Goldberg Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute of Harvard University, she holds the George and Judy Marcus Endowed Chair in Poetry at San Francisco State University. She was raised in New Orleans, and her family goes generations back in Louisiana.
