Public Policy Lab Faculty Fellow Alexandra Guisinger (Department of Political Science) presents:
Foreign Policy in a Diverse Society
Public opinion on foreign economic policy is increasingly divided by partisanship. Less broadly recognized is how other identity groups formed by gender, race, and ethnicity also generate cleavages in both opinions about foreign policy and engagement with foreign policy. This talk will describe a new project, developed in collaboration with former PPL Faculty Fellow Nyron Crawford, to better understand the sources of these divides and to improve the measurement of preferences among African-Americans, Asian Americans, and Latino Americans.
