This session will discuss current initiatives and requirements around data management, sharing and reproducibility in science coming from the NIH, publishers (e.g. Nature), and the broader scientific community. We will provide an introductory nuts and bolts approach to data management including the following topic areas: Tangible ways to better manage your data; How to better document your research to comply with upcoming data management and sharing requirements; Tools that can be used to better organize and document your data throughout the research process; and Platforms and tools that can be used to provide access to your research data.
