Please join Professors David Brown, David Mindich, Karen Turner, and Linn Washington for the second annual group reading of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. We have all heard parts of the speech, but as Professor Washington remarked when we discussed the idea last year, more Americans are familiar with the parts of the speech that discuss the dream than the parts that discuss the nightmare. A reading of the full speech, which should take about 10 minutes, will be a great way to honor Dr. King’s legacy.
