Interested in biking around Philadelphia? The Office of Sustainability's first secondhand bike sale of the semester is happening on Wednesday, March 29th from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM! Our secondhand bike program is made possible through a sustainability surplus initiative where bikes that have been left on campus are fixed up and restored by student mechanics and resold at a discount.
There will be several ready-to-ride bikes of all shapes and sizes at affordable rates. You must be a student to buy one! We accept Diamond Dollars and cash as payment. Don’t miss this chance to get an affordable, sustainable set of wheels -- the perfect way to commute, explore the city and get exercise!
If you buy one of our bikes, be sure to register it with campus safety for a free U-lock and to sign up for one of our urban riding basics courses to learn how to stay safe on the road.
Questions? Contact bryce.forys@temple.edu.
Unfortunately bikes can't be reserved before the sale, so we encourage you to arrive early.
