Started in 2014, Secondhand Cycles is Bike.Temple's bicycle surplus program. Rather than watching the abandoned bicycles on campus be hauled off for scrap, Bike.Temple student mechanics repair and rehab these old bikes so they are once again safe to ride and get you around Philly sustainably.
The Office of Sustainability is changing up this 10-year old program and partnering with the Division of Student Affairs to ensure that these Secondhand Cycles get to the students who want and need them the most. All Temple students are invited to attend this open house on Wednesday, October 30th to see the 9 ready-to-ride bikes up for sale.
Come see the inventory and available bikes and submit an application to purchase a bike. The short application will holistically evaluate student need. It will open on the day of the open house and remain open until Wednesday, November 13th at 11:59PM
