Temple Contemporary recently installed the Stetson Hat Factory bell, the same bell that hung in the bell tower of the factory from 1892 until the factory burned down in 1980.  Located just blocks from Temple University, this bell made its presence known by ringing throughout the day, calling workers to the job, and releasing them at the end of the day.  We are hosting a series of mini concerts throughout the semester, inviting musicians from across Philadelphia to play the bell in a variety of ways.  These concerts will take place each Wednesday from 12-1pm.
