Strengthening TU Roots in DC: Tree-Planing with Casey's Trees

    Alumni

At Temple, we’re committed to fostering growth throughout our local communities. That’s why we’d like you to join us as we partner with D.C.-based nonprofit, Casey's Trees, to strengthen our roots in the District. It’s all part of a larger program during which we set up shop once each year in a new city and showcase our pride and the impact of the Temple community. At our D.C. takeover this spring, we’ll leave a lasting impact by planting trees that’ll help clean the air, absorb storm water, save energy and create healthier communities. We’ll also participate in Petalpalooza, a day-long celebration on April 6 that brings art, music and more to the District Wharf. So, connect with your fellow Owls and help the Temple University spirit blossom in D.C.

Lunch will be provided on-site by Casey’s Trees. Once our work is complete, we will head to a nearby restaurant for even more conversation and community. See you there!
