Student Success Workshop: Metacognition: Learning How to Learn

Klein College of Media and Communication

We like to think that someone exposed to knowledge will naturally learn over time. Learning requires directed effort -- not endless hours of cramming, but specific strategies to plan your work, monitor your performance, and adjust as necessary. This workshop teaches a process called metacognition, or thinking about your thinking, to help you become a self-directed learner.

This workshop will be led by chair and Associate Professor of Journalism Logan Molyneux.
