Studying abroad at Temple in Spain offers you the unique chance to immerse yourself in the heart of authentic Spanish culture while pursuing your academic goals—choose from language immersion options or courses taught in English in a variety of fields!  

Through the Temple in Spain program, you'll have the opportunity to embark on a transformative journey at the University of Oviedo, guided by a dedicated Temple faculty member who serves as the resident director. Located in the northern province of Asturias, Oviedo is a vibrant and picturesque region bordered by mountains to the south and the Cantabrian Sea to the north. It is a region rich in history and culture, and yet, removed from the heavy tourism of many other Spanish regions and cities, you can have a truly immersive experience in this off-the-beaten-path location.   

The Spanish language immersion program, currently offered in spring and summer, was established in 2003 and has expanded to include English-taught courses in the fall in business, computer science, developmental psychology, economics, electrical engineering, and English literature. Additional rotating courses taught in English are also available in the summer term.
