Dr. Patricia Cornett, conductor
The Temple Wind Symphony will open it’s season with a concert entitled “In Reverence.” The ensemble has been broken up into six smaller chamber groups, and each piece pays tribute to a person, place, or idea. Each piece will be pre-recorded, and audiences can look forward to a brass ensemble tribute to Gabrieli, a mixed chamber ensemble tribute to the art of Jackson Pollock, and Richard Strauss’ breathtaking Serenade, Op. 7, which honors and expands the Harmoniemusik traditions of the 18th-century.
This virtual event will take place on Temple’s campus and be livestreamed for audiences to enjoy online. Watch live on Boyer's YouTube channel.
