Text Mining JSTOR's Constellate Part 1

    Temple University Libraries
    JSTOR logo

This workshop will introduce students to conducting quantitative data analysis on textual corpora in the JSTOR database through their new text mining portal, Constellate. Temple affiliates have free trial access to JSTOR Constellate through the fall. This workshop will introduce students to text mining (aka natural language processing) using Jupyter Notebooks and Python, and they will learn how to conduct text mining queries to search for patterns across datasets in JSTOR that they can create themselves.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

This workshop will be recorded. Register to attend the live session or to receive a copy of the recording.

Contact Alex Wermer-Colan at tuh48546@temple.edu with any questions.
