FMA's 2019 program was curated by Prof. Deirdre Maitre and will include the following work:
Ms. Addie's by Juli Jackson (9 min. documentary short)
Ms. Addie's is a personal documentary focusing on a small, family-owned cafe run by women in rural Arkansas.
Fitting In by Alexia Dynda (9 min. documentary short)
This compelling observational film follows a group of friends as they try on and discuss various sized clothing at major US retailers.
The Falling Lovers by Chen-Yi Wu (2 min. animated short)
An awkward, comedic conversation ensues as two characters free fall from the sky toward earth.
Cornered written and directed by Miranda Zampogna (10 min. narrative short)
Refused a place to stay, a homeless sex trafficking survivor falls back into the arms of her pimp.
