Biodiversity Monitoring for Sustainable Territories: Perspectives From Local to Global Scales
María Cecilia Londoño is a senior researcher in the Biodiversity Assessment and Monitoring Program at the Humboldt Institute in Colombia and co-Chair of the Group on Earth Observations Biodiversity Observation Networks (GEO BON). Dr. Londoño's experience is in the use of biodiversity geographic analysis for decision making, the production of biodiversity indicators for multiple users and the development of web platforms for biodiversity data dissemination. Dr. Londoño coordinates and performs research that contributes to implement the knowledge to action cycle related to specific problems in the context of biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
