The New Paris: The People, Places & Ideas Fueling a Movement

    College of Liberal Arts

    Speaker: Lindsey Tramuta, Author

Hailing from Fort Washington, Lindsey Tramuta is a Temple University French alumna who went on to pursue a master's in global communication at the American University of Paris. She currently works as a freelance writer for The New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler, Afar Magazine, and other international publications, and as a consultant for advertising agencies.

This discussion will focus on her debut book, The New Paris: The People, Places & Ideas Fueling a Movement. In her book Tramuta works to refute the many hoary clichés associated with the French lifestyle, introducing readers to a young, talented generation of chefs, artisans, and entrepreneurs redefining Paris for a conscious modern audience.
