The College of Liberal Arts invites Temple University undergraduate students to submit original editorial cartoons and graphic illustrations that confront current political and social issues. We welcome single panels or sequential art. Diverse styles are welcome! Winners will have a chance to be featured on the National Cartoonist Society website.
Submission requirements: Open to all Temple University undergraduate students. All work must be submitted digitally via this Google form: https://forms.gle/TgDy2gqUx1DUeMGm9.
Digital work must be at least 300dpi JPEG, 1MB or less. Each student can submit one (1) illustration. Collaborations are welcome; however, prize money will be split. The following information must be included with your submission: Name(s), TUID, Temple email address, and major.
Deadline: Monday, December 2
1st Prize: $500 | 2nd Prize: $250 | 3rd Prize: $100
Entries will be exhibited in the Department of Political Science in Gladfelter Hall, 4th Floor. Winners will be announced at an event on December 10th. Entries will be judged by Signe Wilkinson, editorial cartoonist for Philly.com and Dave Blazek, syndicated cartoonist for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
