    As recent graduates and professionals, it’s important to have a working understanding of financial concepts, income tax how to’s, employer benefit basics, and more to pave the way for personal and financial success. In this dynamic session, Bryan Murray, FOX ’15, Financial Planner with Wealth by Design Group, will empower attendees with financial knowledge and provide some action items to get you started in the right direction.

    This session will cover:
    Income Tax: How the US income tax system works, how to file your taxes and what you'll owe
    Cash Flow Planning: Simple is better and more successful
    Workplace benefits: Maximizing what’s available & considering individual alternatives
    Legal Documents: Why you need them now!
    The “Fun Stuff”: Investing / Robinhood / "earning your fun"

    The target audience for this session is Class of 2020 graduates, but all are welcome to participate.

    Meet the Speaker:
    As a financial planner, Bryan Murray works with a breadth of clients; including couples establishing their financial foundation, newly minted partners of mid-to-large professional service firms and business owners looking to grow & exit their businesses. Specializing in the areas of risk management, tax, estate and business owner planning, Bryan adds a unique perspective to Wealth by Design that allows him to help his clients to get all the way home.

    Bryan graduated from Temple University with his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Economics. During his time at Temple, Bryan was the President and Director of Portfolio Management for Temple’s student-managed investment fund, the William C. Dunkelberg Owl Fund, which manages a portion of the Temple University Endowment. He is now also in process of furthering his education as a student in the Masters of Taxation program at Fordham University, Lincoln Center.
