This fall, Temple University Center City and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute are pleased to continue our live speaker series: TUCC Talks
Once each month, on a Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., TUCC will host a leader from the Temple University community to present their research and generate an intellectual dialogue. The events will take place in the newly renovated Room 222, will be free to attend, and will also be live streamed. Lunch will be provided ahead of the event, beginning at 12 p.m.

AI for Social Good: Recognizing Hotel Rooms from Images
This talk will provide an overview of TraffickCam, an AI-driven system designed to combat human trafficking by leveraging computer vision and machine learning to identify hotel rooms from photos. We'll delve into the unique challenges of this problem domain and explore how AI and deep learning techniques have been integrated to create an interactive image recognition tool used by law enforcement in the pursuit of justice.
