Please join Temple Women's Network of DC on our Day Hike on Saturday, August 20 at 10 a.m. to hike the Great Falls Billy Goat Trail - sections B and C! This trail is approximately five miles long and although the overall rating for this hike is “moderate” it is mostly easy, relatively flat walking. The increase in the rating comes from several small rock scrambles in Section B that have to be negotiated. Parts of the trail can be quite rocky and, after periods of heavy rain, other sections can be muddy. Good hiking boots are recommended for this excursion. Dogs are welcome on a leash, however, make sure they are trail-worthy as your dog will need to do the same rock scrambles as you.

The entire trip will take approximately 2.5 hours with a stop for lunch. We will meet across the street from Old Angler's Inn, located at 10801 MacArthur Blvd, Potomac, MD 20854. Please park and meet in front of the restrooms across from the inn at 10 a.m.

Please bring at least one liter of water, pack a lunch, wear comfortable shoes (supportive sneakers or hiking boots) and dress appropriately for the weather. We look forward to seeing you there!
