Kim Brandt has presented her work in New York City at The Kitchen, Pioneer Works, SculptureCenter, Artists Space, Movement Research, Aunts, Abrons Arts Center, AVA Gallery, Industry City and Roulette, among others. She is a recipient of a 2017 Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists Award, and is a 2016-2018 Artist in Residence at Movement Research. She was a 2016 Fellow at Bogliasco Foundation, a 2015 Artist in Residence at Issue Project Room, a 2015-16 recipient of The Award/NYC, and has received space grants from Center for Performance Research, Chez Bushwick and Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Her work has been supported by The Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists and Emergency Grant programs, The Brooklyn Arts Council and The Jerome Foundation Travel & Study Program. Recent press includes interviews in ArtForum, Bomb, and Girls Like Us. Brandt received a BA from Hampshire College and a MFA in Sculpture from Tyler School of Art. www.kimbrandt.net
