Due to predicted storm, this trip has been postponed to Saturday, January 30.

The first bus trip of the year goes to the National Gallery in Washington DC on Saturday, January 30. Bus leaves at 9 am from 13th & Diamond Street to go to the the National Gallery in Washington DC (6th Street and Constitution Avenue). Bus leaves the National Gallery at 5 pm to return to Tyler around 8 pm. The bus trip is free. Admission to the National Gallery is free. Most Smithsonian-affiliated museums in Washington DC are also free. You are not required to go to any museum to ride the bus. You are not required to return on the bus if you do not want to. If you are not there at 5 pm when the bus leaves, you will get left behind. By requesting a ticket, you are certifying that you will be there to ride the bus at 9 am on Saturday, January 30. If you find you cannot go after requesting a ticket, you must cancel no later than noon on Friday, January 29 or you will not be able to get tickets to future field trips. You may only sign up for one ticket.
