Unedited Philadelphia: Germantown

    Temple University Libraries

Join us for the latest in the Unedited Philadelphia screening series highlighting Germantown and the Wissahickon. The program features Temple University’s Urban Archives news footage from CBS3/KYW and WPVI6/WFIL.

The Unedited Philadelphia series draws on raw news footage, nightly broadcasts, outtakes, and Public Affairs, and feature based programming to depict vignettes of life in the Philadelphia region from the 1940s through 1990s. The film features everyday and landmark moments in neighborhood life, art, music, politics, religion, and more.

Footage compiled by Associate Archivist, John Pettit

This event will be hosted at Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional Library, 68 W Chelten Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144

CBS3/KYW still: Germantown High School. March 28, 1968.
