Are you interested in gaining professional experience by presenting at a virtual or in-person conference? Come to this workshop to learn how to write a winning conference abstract! We’ll examine the process for applying to a call for proposals at health and medical conferences, plus some tips for conferences in the humanities and social sciences. Tips for writing presentation titles and the pieces of an abstract will be explored. We’ll look at best practices for successful proposals and make recommendations for how you can get the most out of your conference experience. This is an installment in the Skills in September series, where we hope to help build your professional skills in publishing and presenting!
