2025 NPHW | The MASLOW Initiative: Trauma-Informed Approaches to Meet Our Community Needs

    Please join CPH and Temple Trauma Workgroup as we welcome keynote Lisa Balsamo from the MASLOW Initiative. The PA MASLOW Initiative is state level guide for higher education “a comprehensive guide to supporting postsecondary students, translated from Maslow’s Hierarchy of Basic Needs, which includes physiological, safety and security, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization needs.” 

    Panelists from Temple University resources including Cherry Food Pantry, Tuttleman Counseling Services’ Resiliency Resource Center, Social Services Annex, and Peer support specialists will discuss how their efforts align with this initiative and consider to the individual needs of Temple community members. Session will conclude with panelist-audience interactive dialogue.

    *This is a Suitable event, and students can earn points for attendance.
