Tyler Dean’s Student Advisory Committee is sponsoring a Vampire Blood Drive on Monday, October 29 from 11 am – 4 pm in Architecture 104.
You can give blood to the American Red Cross while enjoying vampire movies. We’ll have special vampire-themed fun prizes, free t-shirts, fun times, and you get a vampire bite on your neck to show you gave blood! The blood donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour. The donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes on average.
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components — red cells, platelets and plasma — which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.
