TUready Training Series: Surviving an Active Assailant

    Campus Safety Services

Please join the Director of Emergency Management Sarah Powell and one of the leaders of Campus Safety’s Active Shooter program, Lt. Ken McGuire, in a lunchtime training session -- TUReady: Surviving an Active Assailant.

Active assailants are individuals who are actively engaged in harming people with a weapon, including a firearm, knife, vehicle or other device. As we have all seen, these incidents are becoming more common, and it is important to create a plan – and if possible, practice that plan – in the event you are confronted with just such a situation.

In this 1.5 hour session, we will cover:

    1. How Temple Police are prepared to respond

    2. What you can do to increase your chance of surviving such an incident

Register here and please commit to coming, as seating may be limited. Please choose one session out of the available dates that works best for your schedule.
